I've been absolutely beguiled by music my whole life.  I've also always appreciated the tremendous impact that light  has on my mood and my listening experience.

One day, I had the bright idea (pun definitely intended) to experiment with using LED lighting through the three (very convenient) transport screw holes of my lovely Music Hall MMF 9.3 turntable.

 

My goal was to design and build a continuously adjustable  LED lighting kit that would boost the aesthetics of my table/system and enhance the ambiance of the entire room, thereby providing an even more immersive music listening experience.

After much trial and error (and a whole lot of internet orders), I succeeded in refining the design to a very very simple, easy-to-assemble, cost-effective, solution, which functioned perfectly for its purpose. In fact, the glowing effect was much more pronounced and pleasing than I had expected.

 

I then got another (bright) idea; maybe other Music Hall Table owners would like this too?!

I initially sought a more refined finish but very quickly realized it would be cost-prohibitive and, frankly, absolutely unnecessary. However, knowing that I could manufacture my solution, as a KIT, at a price I'd have gladly payed, I decided to launch PlatterGlow.

Regardless of monetary success, I'm so looking forward to the life experience and meeting new audio friends along the way!
